Frequently Asked Questions

What does a typical coaching session look like? Coaching sessions usually run 50 minutes. At the beginning of each session, we will work to define the topic you’d like to coach on and what a successful outcome for our time would look like. We then spend the majority of the session discussing your topic, examining it from all angles, and discovering new insights. The coach’s role throughout this time is to ask questions, make observations, and follow your lead. As we approach the end of the topic, we will identify action steps for moving forward and discuss resources you may need or barriers you may face. You should walk away from each session with new insights and actions to move towards your goals.

Who benefits from coaching? Many individuals can benefit from coaching! If you are facing challenges in your professional or personal life; looking to achieve your potential; working towards a goal; or striving to find clarity, then you may benefit from coaching. You can be at any point in life, in any field.

How long do coaching engagements last? The length of time you work with a coach depends on a variety of factors, including the growth you are hoping to see and the timeframe of the goal you’ve set. Winter Coaching & Consulting offers three and six month coaching packages, as well as individual session rates.
